About me
"SKETCH SMALL, DREAM BIG"
Hi, I’m Emelie, a surface pattern designer and illustrator from Stockholm, Sweden. I sketch small, dream big, and create art that brings me joy. I come from a background in comic art and children’s book illustration.
If I had to describe my style in three words, it would be “bubbly,” “colorful,” and “cute“
My goal is for anyone who owns a product featuring my design to feel a sense of warmth and connection, as each pattern is crafted with care and love.
My Creative Process
I begin each project with hand-drawn sketches and dedicate time to my sketchbook nearly every day.
The rest of my creative process is digital, where I use Procreate or Illustrator to add color to my illustrations and develop patterns. I also enjoy creating simple animations (GIFs),which add a little dynamic touch to websites and social media.
